Now I cannot play EVE more due to the new crap launcher

Since the new launcher was introduced it has been necessary for me to completely reinstall EVE every time a new patch arrived (download new client + install = sloooooow process). This has worked previously but now I cannot even do that any more!

When I delete the app, reboot, fetch a clean new client from the web and then install it, it just starts up the Repair Tool as the first for some reason where it fails miserably, "An error occured during the repair"! Oh really!? Then I can only close this after which it automatically loops in to this Repair mode again!

I have of course sent a petition but I have no hope of getting that answered as I am familiar with the support of CCP :-/ My skilling queue has ended and no ways to setup a new queue as this is not possible through EVE Gate.

This is my last desperate hope of getting this fixed since other may have stumbled in to the same problem - and found a fix. Sadly I have still 360 days left on my subscription and sadly I doubt CCP will reimburse that.

You should really try deleting the eve files in Library/application support instead of the application itself. No changes are made to the eve program after installation.

Of course I have already tried that - I have deleted ALL EVE folders and reinstalled with a new fresh install.

I'm also at wits end with this installer....I spend more time installing patches than playing the game. I'm getting the same error message when trying to repair ("An error occured during the repair") and have reinstalled EVE several times already but now that is not working.

Solution coming soon I hope....?

None of the suggestions work at all, NOT even booting into Windows. The silence on the issue is maddening. It has been one week already and I still can't get into the game.
