Grid / Overview not loading but eve chat fine

Always happens upon a gate jump and usually when time dilation is in effect.

Will jump into a new system, both overview and grid will not load. But the eve chat channels are working fine. Logging out and back in immediately always works but by then I'm playing catch up with the fleet and risking death.

Anyone else get this BS, is there a workaround?

Spoiling my PvP. Happened 3 times in 4 ops :-(

I have experienced that problem aswell.

Apparently it happens only when you jump with several people at once, as I never had it outside a larger pvp op/event.

How it happens:
- You jump at a gate
- Your session changes
- You enter new local
- You don't appear on a grid, that means:
* No gates, no stations, NOTHING on the overview
* Nothing in the actual viewfield, not even your own ship
* Modules don't work, speed meter doesn't work (at least they appear to be not working)
* Warping to a location via fleet window / system menu has no visible effect
* Chatting in all channels works tho

So far, as Haoibuni stated, only restarting the client solves this, which is terribly annoying at best and deadly at worst.

Interesting fact tho:
I get "Warp drive active" mesasges, when a unit leader initiates fleet warp.. AND apparently it even works, as I was at the next gate after the restart. So it might be a GUI / client-server communication problem and on the server everything still works.

I will try to experiment a bit more, if the situation allows it, the next time this happens.

Apperently it's the same as this:

Thanks for your response.

Best that we talk about it in that thread.
