Hi guys, I have noticed the last two weeks that when I join a fleet with friends my DPS decreases by around 20-50... Is this an error in the fitting tool or is there a lack of fleet skills in the fleet commander?

I'm sure you should not be receiving a penalty for being in fleet - even if the FC has bad leadership skills. Either the FC gives you a leadership bonus, or you get no bonus.

How are you measuring your DPS?

This. I've never heard of anything at all that would let fleet reduce your DPS that you're dealing. I think the metric you're using to measure it is borked. Try using EFT to calculate your DPS instead.

leadership skills don't affect DPS, but I've noticed the DPS showing on fitting window will decrease once i deploy drones.

could that account for what you're seeing?

I am going by the fitting window in EVE.. It can't be drones, as the ship doesn't have a drone bay :s

this is a known bug, its the ballistics thats causing it ( im sure u got some fitted? ) if not, as soon as drones are deployed, it doesnt see ur drones in ur hold either. hence that drop.

Its on their to-do list eventually.
