Hey all so i cant post in the trial forum so ill post here...

I did this program thing here
https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=postmessage&t=9874&f=257

Now, i was promised 430m isk upon subscription but it has been 1.5 weeks and I have not received it.
I do not want to report him because I know he is trustworthy and has paid out many other players but i am honestly getting a little impatient and anxious..

My question is what can i do?

You could contact the player is question, no? If he doesn't come online anymore you could ask a GM if he got banned. I doubt you get an answer, tho. The GMs are quite picky what questions they answer.

If you take all the sand out of the box, only the cat poo will remain.

Contact him again and ask when he is going to pay your ISK. Also do mention the email address you used when you requested buddy invite (he can then confirm from Account Management whether you really did upgrade or not.)

If he doesn't answer I would definitely report him with petition. But I would probably give 1-2 weeks for him to answer first, just in case he has some RL problems and hasn't been able to log in lately.

Just out of curiosity, how did you upgrade your account when you made it a paid one? I don't think Paypal is an accepted means to upgrade on the Buddy Invite system now so it may not have triggered the reward for the other player.

WoW holds your hand until end game, and gives you a cookie whether you win or lose. EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place...

It is again accepted, but it can take few days for inviter to get reward.

But even if he did use wrong payment method, I'd expect inviter to send message explaining this and telling that he can't give anything because of that. (This is what I would do.)

True, I had someone use a cd-key to upgrade their account from the Buddy Invite trial, which invalidated it. I had to explain to them that the deal we had couldn't be completed though I've offered plenty of other help besides that and sent them another invite for a second account that went through fine so it worked out in the end.

Good to hear Paypal is an option for upgrading again.

I had no problems with my Buddy Invite payout when I upgraded (PayPal) but, out of curiosity, why is the payment method relevant? Surely the deal is between the new player and the person who invited them, not CCP?

Inviter doesn't get reward from CCP if invitee uses wrong payment method.

For allowed payment methods, see "Terms and Conditions" here: https://secure.eveonline.com/buddy/

Hi guys thanks for the replies..
I upgraded through the eve account management with my debit card.
I paid the 5$ activation fee + the sub fee.(one month). Then i canceled my sub afterwards because I didnt want to have my debit card subbed to anything... <-- do you think that is the problem?

Not sure on that one, doubt it but if you unsubbed really quickly it may have affected it, I couldn't say.

The player who sent you the buddy invite has just posted again, you might want to try and mail him again to find out or threaten to report him.
