Fighter bug , a work around ?

Situation:
Use fighters in 0.0 , with carrier on field.

Hostile enters system, carrier makes safe-warp to POS

( leaving fighters behind , they they will follow later )

Carrier is safe within Alliance tower , but fighters refuse to go trough pos-shield
( leaving them outside ) , unable to return to the carrier.

This is new since the last -big patch- , petition / bug report got no response

( tried it on several clients / systems / towers ) , same result.

It's my understanding that drones are supposed to disconnect when either they or their host ship enters a POS.

If you found a way to make drones function while your ship is in the POS shields... well... I'd class THAT as a bug/exploit and that this was simply a "fix."

If you lack the need to keep your carrier alive... Indeed the best way ;p

Im talking about pulling in Fighters, not putting them on a target from inside of the POS

Working as usual, The POS shields will indeed stop fighters being pulled in. I once had to scan my fighters down in a WH I once lived in as the fighters were left behind they simply stopped where they were mid warp as I went through the shields.

warp to 10-15km off the pos tower (puts you just inside the shield) stick the nose of your carrier back out if the pos shield... recall fighters... problem solved

Everytime you buy something that says "made in china" you are helping the rising unemployment in your own country unless you are from china, Buy locally produced goods and help create more jobs.
