R.Db Tools: still used?

I've found a few of these under a big pile of dust in my hangar. I can't even remember really how I got them. Agent reward or something? I know they were used for T2 production before the whole industry got shaken up and the whole Invention system was implemented (though it's more of a 'licensing' thing, if you ask me).

Have these become one of those keepsakes of times long forgotten or are they still actually used for anything these days?

They are still used but most T2 producers have BPO's and make their own.

Cloaking devices need them for copies to do invention. But that's only two of them.
