Was going to post this in the Out of Pod experience but rules state it can't be related to Eve >_>

So, how has Eve Online inspired your real-life?

My experience, for example, was that I had a sudden and dramatic shift in interest career-wise that I decided to start going to school for a degree in Biomedical Engineering..!

More star trek, but eve does help keep my vision.

Going to start Physics soon. So lasers and whatnot! Yeah. (probably go into particle physics though)

Large volumes of highly researched Ammo, drones, charges and ship bpo's. Biggest BPO store in EVE! https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=445524#post445524

It hasn't. It's a game...

How exactly did the game influence your inspiration?

The entire idea of implants and Capsule usage, combined with other ideas of Cybernetic devices really appeals to me. Biomedical Engineering has only recently been considered it's own field, previously you had to get two separate degrees. It's my intent to eventually research and develop things like this.

^^ Lol

it certainly makes me want to fly space ships and shoot things ..

but in all honesty the most I could hope is for it to continue to offer fun distraction at work when I've other things to be thinking about, but would rather not ..

I don't take inspirations of any kind from video games of any kind.

Myself and 5 mates set an 18 wheeler on fire so we could steal it's precious cargo, we then beat the driver to death with baseball bats as he tried to escape the blaze on his mobility scooter.

True story inspired by eve...

I use my time running eve corporations and FC'ing "team building, organizing, and management" experience. If you've tried to build and run a corp, you know exactly why this is an experience in team building, organizing, and management. Especially with the user interface! P

It has robbed me of any need to interact with the outside world. I had so many plans and dreams before i started playing this game and now i cant even remember what they are.
