i tried whatever i can and it just wont patch

disabled firewall and everything. update repair and that doesnt even run anymore

atm i cant even autoupdate the launcher

it starts off with eveonline launcher window which says downloading launcher update (24mins-1hr??) the green bar hardly moves then i get this exception message;

i had this problem on my home pc also but i finally got it to patch (just kept trying for 6hrs) then suddenly it worked

this one i have been trying for the last 4hrs. i dont understand what is going on i read and reread forums, etc tried all those info that has been posted

ps. is it me but it seems that the update is very slow using the launcher until it times out. please bring back those manual patches which i have been using b4 this launch.

Delete the launcher sub folder of your eve installation and run repair.exe. Are you behind some special NAT or proxy?

i have deleted the cache folder in the launcher sub folder. the repair doesnt work something abt win32 blah blah. i am not good at computers so NAT and proxy i got no idea. all i know is the first time i ran launcher when it was introduced everything worked fine then after that everything went south.

i just tried to update the new patch using the launcher on my home computer which was working i got to 89% was so happy then the exception windows popped up again and goodbye update.....bring back the manual patches. this is getting annoying.

i relaunch the launcher and went to get my shower. i come back patch completed eve can launch. between my first failed attempted and second successful one i changed nothing done nothing different so why did an exception error occur for my first attempt? ccp better get its act together and fast. bring back the manual patches they worked fine

@ free machine thanks for the manual patch. my office pc is still stuck like 2-3 patches behind something like 351477 (something like that cant remember)

Well been trying to get this game to work on my Day off, started at 5:30 AM it is not 2:24 PM i give up. not worth it. im not paying $15 bucks a months so i can be a beta tester for some crappy launcher. CCP you wanna Test your new ideas... before they are ready dont charge us for the game. i dont like paying for a few months at a time then not being able to play. so my adive for a work around is what i did. DELETE IT.
all this thing does is crash or nothing.
Set up a petition... i got form letters telling me to do SAME thing ive been doing for 6 hours. THEN when i asked not to have form letters for help... CCP sent me a FORM letter telling me how sorry they were they use them but trust them its best way for help... OMG. kinda at my witts end here. SOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad they Fixed the old way old patching....you know the OLD saying. if its not BROKE FIX IT.
So if anyone has anything better i can try please toss a dog a bone. Manual dont work. trying it off Dteam dont work. trying it off EVEs page dont work. No wonder they cant get more players.
