I must not know enough about Christianity to know what you're talking about.

The reference I like most, though, are the monoliths you sometimes find in different places. 2001: Space Odyssey is one of my favorite movies. It'd be cool to see a derelict Mass Relay somewhere, paying homage to Mass Effect, THAT I would camp all day long.

On a seriously note. Any game on the market today has reference to etiher nations, myths, religion, cults, countries ect.. Why ? Cause it is made of inhabitants on earth who is born and tought those things thorughout school, watching TV, observing real life and so on.

Its inevitable.

I will begin here with a disclaimer I am not christian. In fact my personal belief is that any religion operating under a deity who loves all and forgives universally yet uses the fear of said deity and a superposed "hell" as a fear tactic for obedience is an abomination of said faith..

Frankly I find your statement of crap in regard to any ones belief is racist and inflammatory...but it's ok because it's directed at Christians right? You know.. Christians, this generations whipping boy. We see it every night almost on the news. Another school official getting terminated for a religions comment in class, groups protesting and having crosses removed from public buildings and areas.

This is how it starts folks. The op may not be a racist or a bigot but the attitude toward a specific religion clearly represents the growing culture in society today.
Ask the Jews about it..they may have some perspective.

Err, no? Christians and Arabs share the same books they stolen from the Jews. Together Christian faith and Islam have the majority on the planet or at least folk that got that cultural background. You can't really be a Christian and start a war about Oil. Same for Arabs.

Most of Asia got Islam and there are both Moslems and Christians in China.

Eve is really a scifi story we play out and now we, the players, make the history. It's now like other games that you have to follow the story line. That is why I like Eve and not other games like STO and WOW, we make the Game and CCP just makes the Rules to follow.

The Races they did use at the first is for we can relate to the game, and feel part of it. No putting them down...

Amarr aren't really like Catholics .. maybe Byzantine Orthodox? The Byzantine Empire really did have slaves by the way.
