Requesting 150m loan - I ended up bankrupt

Recently I got my hands on an expensive ship, fitted it, and then had it ganked in less than an hour. It was a dominix destined for null space and had eaten the last of my capital. I know never to fly something you cant afford to lose, but this was going to be able to repay itself in 3 hours.

So, if you send me 150m ISK I will set up a new domi. I will have the money for you in 1-3 days; Maximum 1 week.

This is seriously stupid. Never fly anything you can't afford to lose, never really means never. Have fun mining in your Navitas, bro.

never fly something you CAnt afford to lose is true . But try do that in null is really unforgiving ...

Have you considered of that happening again ? the odds are quite big .
That one shouldve repayed itself in 3 hours , and now you ask for 1 week , why this one wont repay itself in 3 hours ?

If it does repay itself in such a long time its probably a bad choice ... 1 youl be -150m for 1 week , and then youl be at 0 but with ship . And only 1 week after again it will repay itself so youl afford to lose it . So that makes 2 weeks before you can afford to lose it . A big to much , + the risk of loosing it again in null's .

Opportunities multiply as they are seized.

you should always have a -mission/mining/or else- ship in high sec with a jump clone just to fill up your empty pockets...

recently i activated my account after 2 years (before i was most of the time in 0.0)...just had enough to update my clone...
opened my hangar and had a handfull of ships just to fill up my wallet. Shocked

hope you will learn something from that, while mining in 0.0 in your noob-ship Twisted

Instead of running a charity scam you should just buy plex.

I was broke once... I'd just become a capsuleer...
I had a Bantam and a mining laser...

If you lose a BS and cant afford another, you broke the 2nd rule of EVE...

And to the person who gave the ISK... You broke the first rule...

Silly newbs.

I do what I please whenever I please simply because I want to do it and I can afford to do it any way I want.

Sometimes it works out, sometimes it does not.

But you guys are cute. I wonder what you'll be like when you grow up.

The OP would not have been out of place, line for line, in Jita local.

Shar, do you send money to "give me isk and I'll double it" people too? Lol

@Shar Tegral

sorry bro, you broke 2 rules.

1. trusting some one in eve. Just because you have billions doesn't mean you should. Why?

2. Even in the rare case that he is a noob and isn't scamming, let natural selection do it's work.

The tears of the many, outweigh the tears of the few. Or the one. enterprise-psi©

For some of you this is a rare opportunity to laugh at my expense and I can appreciate how much this means for those. Equally some feel obligated to use this occasion as reinforcement of the common Eve rules of thumb. It is indeed such a time however do not think I don't know the "common wisdom".

As I tell many, there is a time to follow conventional wisdom and there are times not to follow it. I occasionally step away from the common herd and gamble on an individual. Sometimes it works out and I profit in more than just isk. Sometimes it does not and the loss is limited to just isk - at least on my part.

For my part: I only posted the results so as to help others avoid trusting someone who is not trustworthy.

Nothing more, nothing less.
