I think it's a bit much to call them noobs but it was certainly well played.

I liked the part where the big orange blob swallowed the little red blob... EVE's terrible UI/HUD aside, well done to the faction warfare guys!

PL just got complacent. That's all. You can only go unchallenged for so long before that happens.

I would bet good ISK that PL members (save one ) found this just as entertaining as it was to any of us.

Proud of Gal Mil, sad I was afk from the game while this was going on.

PL got what they deserved. I hope they don't stop camping in Amamake with titans.

PL has been anything but stupid in the past.

Thank PL for offering it to someone willing to make the move. I'm sure PL knew exactly what they were doing when they sent that titan to its death. It's the closest we have now to a glorious killmail. Calculate the odds anyone will take the time to care.

No hard feelings towards them at all, it was a good stalk, and kill, and more people should take notes on what they did, and repeat it.

Odda was an idiot, he paid the price for being so (and his fit, my god, his fit is so bad).

I was on comms with my PL frienders while this happend, I myself had been in a smartbombing carrier just minutes before this attack, ended up comming back with a triage carrier in attempt to save them :)

Really it was an accident waiting to happen, and we all knew it lol, but main problem was that the moment the dread gang cynoed in, the Titan client crashed and was unable to switch mods with the carriers that he been right next to him (if he had done this there would have been a good chance of back up landing in time as the only losses besides that titan was a few carriers comming to save the other stuff :) (and potentially the titan)

PS: wasn't that bad a loss as titan market value has fallen into the ground since the titan nerf announcement :)

People DC on combat initiation more than you might think Mai, it's a sudden boost in incoming data having all that stuff suddenly happening. About 50% of my engagements *someone* DC'd.

Still, good km, grats FW folks. Maybe this is the start of Red vs Blue vs Yellow vs Green :P

Well, for some reason it always seems to be the same people who do. I personally can't even recall a single fight where I d/c'd at initiation, or even during the fight. Only late, when node dies completely and we all get forced off, or on jumping through a gate. But he was already in system, loaded, so should be no session change or excessive lag at his end.

I knew a few superpilots who d/c'd on a regular basis, all of them had ****** connections. I think his ISP/location is almost certainly the culprit, blaming the game/client is just fail. And even if we are generous, assuming he did randomly d/c for some unknown mystery-reason-that-only-happens-to-few-people, he should never have engaged with the damage mods and rechargers in low to begin with. That could and should easily been refitted before he was even aggressed.

FW guys did well to kill him, and he took unecessary and stupid risks, there's nothing else to it. Blaming the weather or wrong pants won't change that.
