quess not, so that brings me to my second beef.

the hamfisted approach to excluding html from posts.
it appears the method used to exclude html from posts was to consider anything between angle brackets to be html, regardless of if its random letters, the word poop or actual html.

this is just lazy and may explain why so many other things are badly implemented such as the ability to post urls with html spaces.

yeah, don't think I've ever been in any of the other forums cept for see-n-pee and that alliance and corp thingie

just sayin P

but how is forum experimen....

oh I see now.
no, you misunderstand.

I was posting about the html exclusion thing, but the post failed because of either no html or no code box, so i reposted (since the forums wiped out my post) with the test of the code box, fully intending to follow it up with the main issue.

so it was a test of necessity rather than a gratuitous test

but if i ever do decide to test the forum in general I'll be sure to do it there
thanks for the info

If CCP implemented a grease monkey script for the forums, it would make them pretty interesting :)

A complete an utter PITA. I just lost a very extensive post because I included XML codes within a paired quote tags.

Look. I don't mind that you won't allow HTML. But do you really have to wipe whole bloody post without letting me edit the stupid thing? Seriously you guys at CCP are really just barely on the edge of competent.
