Questions about Federation Custom tax

Hi

I've been away for over a month and came back to find most my ISK gone. Expected to find over well 10 million but it was down to a couple - yes small to most people but still an unexpected fall.

Looking at my forthcoming corp bills - in mid April about 7 million will be due to Federation Custom Tax - i wonder what this tax is - and how it is calculated. Basically I'm just a miner and don't buy or sell stuff except for selling my ore.

I'm wondering if this 7 million will be payable every month - is it a fixed amount or does it depend upon selling stuff.

I've looked around the forums and cannot see an answer - except discussions about the new tax that is affecting planetary production in Hi-Sec - apparently its 100 times higher. Most of my work is in low to high sec, nothing in null sec.

Another question about buying selling stuff. What taxes are payable on buying a ship in one system and selling it in another.

Perhaps someone can point me to an FAQ on taxes.

Thank you

Since it appears to be occurring every month, my guess would be you have an office somewhere that is set to autopay.

As mentioned above, you must have a corp office on a Federation Customs station and the fees have have been paid. Check your bill notifications and corp offices.

That was it, an office I can't even recall renting :(

At least the taxes hadn't gone up :)

Thanks again.
