Hi guys

Let me start by introducing myself!
My EvE life began early 2005. I played until 2008, quit a year due to school and the realisation that I'd never finish the first year unless I quit playing EvE.
After that I started up a few times again but I just never found my thing in EvE again, and here's why.

when I first started playing, back in 2005, I was lucky enough to get introduced into a brilliant corporation. There were only about 20 players, but they all were very active. I got to know these people. Over a course of 3 years I spent hours each day on teamspeak with these people. I knew about their hobbys, when their child was sick, when they messed up at work etc. The other way around was just the same. They knew about my grades in school, the girlfriends I had etc.
The small community that corporation had reached well beyond 'just EvE'.

Besides that we did all kinds of things. We would mine in t2-laser fit apocalypses (thatwuztheshit) because some guy needed a thorax. We would sit and camp gates and shoot stuff because... well, we hadn't done that before. It went from roams in nullsec to mining in highsec, to making adds to promote our little corp. I loved that corp, but while I was on my EvE break I saw the corp activity drop, a few members leave and basically die out.

This is why I never found my thing in EvE again. I tried everything from highsec mining, mercenary work, pos fueling, 1500+ fleet combat (or fleet waiting?) in nullsec, wormholes, the whole shabbam. But it wasn't working for me anymore.
I now realise I need to find that 'home' corp again. A place where I can settle in.
And then it won't really matter what I do, as long as I can share it with the members in that corporation.

If you are still reading by now, you might be what I'm looking for.
But let me describe it more specifically.

* I am not a fan of 'mandatory ops'. Don't get me wrong, I'll defend some turf if I have to, or mine for a corpmember, or fly my freighter out to the middle of nowhere to pick up a ship. But I don't pay to come home from work, and then be bossed around again. I will help anyone that could use a hand with anything. but I don't like being ordered to when playing a game. I won't ***** about a CTA every now and then, but CTA's on every weekend day for a month doesn't fly.

* The whereabouts of your corp are of little importance to me. I lived in null, low and highsec before. Managed to find my way in each of them. most of my experience lies in nullsec though.

*I prefer a corporation that uses voice comms.

*I spent years learning about EvE, and I still feel like a noob. Whenever someone has questions, I prefer to see people try to answer them. I very much dislike people that scale you up on SP or gametime. If you consider yourself an elitist-corp don't bother. I have no problem with newer players!

* Teamwork is essential in what I'm looking for. I dislike assigned roles for every task ranging from ammo production to hangar sorting. The corp I'm looking for has people doing what needs to be done when it needs to be done. I don't mind working a little for the corp. I pitch in where and when needed, as should the majority of your members.

* I enjoy EvE through various aspects of the game. I'll spend a day doing something foolish, just because I had fun doing it. I consider an evening of mining to be relaxing, but I've done plenty of combat too. If your corporation is focussed one a single aspect of eve, like missioning or PVP, then you are probably not when I'm looking for.

As far as characters I have 2. A combat character and an industry character. Both have about 30M SP. I posses basic knowledge of most aspects of the game, and enjoy all of them. I will offer teamwork and an active attitiude towards helping the corporation in whatever goal it sets.
The combat character is mostly armor/amarr specced, but I'm willing to change up if your corp flies shield mostly.
The industry character has hulk, orca, freighter, JF skills (but no JF), max refine, max build, and I have experience in building capital ships. (no supers yet).

I'm in EU TZ
Feel free to hit me up ingame so we can talk :)

Good luck with your search. Ignore those copy and pasters and find the right place.

Join the family :)

If you are making the decision to change corps then considering Ardent Spirits might be a great idea.

We tick all the boxes for the pvp centric pilot, and cover all the bases for the social side too, a quick checklist of what you can expect:

ArrowNull sec activity, roams and ops.
ArrowHelp and assistance with procedures and fleet doctrine
ArrowAlliance ship replacement for certain types
ArrowCorp ship replacement assistance for certain types
ArrowTeamspeak with our own area
ArrowLogistics to and from staging areas
ArrowCap fleets - yes we use them!
ArrowIn house Indy team supporting you
ArrowMature gamers - absolutely no drama queens allowed
ArrowWide TZ exposure
ArrowFly with one of the Elite Alliances in EVE

Rather than bore you with any more text take a look at our advert - we probably are what you are looking for.

Ardent Sprits - PVP with The Initiative.

Just hit our public channel in game and we can chat. RDNT. (with the dot!)

I've got two nice options now, but I'm still sitting it out for a few days to broaden my choices.

If your corp has:
- less then 5 actual members (alts not included)
- no industry division (or at least a pos with factorie if in null).
- existed for less then a week
- a NRDS policy while living in highsec

then I am most likely not interested. I do appreciate it if a ceo or recruiter takes the time to read my post and see if I would be a good fit before contacting me.
