If I'm in a destroyer killing another destroyer, do I use faction ammo or t2 version?

If I'm in an T1/T2 frig killing the same, do I use faction ammo or the T2 version?

And is there an easy way to remember Minnie ammo? Or missles? Or Gallente amo? I have a hard time remembering what damage types each ammo does without having to always look them up.

I'd most likely end up using t2 in both cases, but it really depends on range and transversal.

As far as ammo goes, EMP is pretty obvious, it's got EM in the name. Fusion's bullets are yellowish colored, like you'd expect armor, and phased plasma... Plasma is hot, so thermal.

Missiles, they're all standardized now, there's only 4 names to get used to. It's not that hard, but if you need help look at the color of the missile tips.

As far as hybrid ammo goes, there's only one type. If you're not using antimatter odds are you're doing it wrong.

For ammo with missile ranges, turn on your combat overlay and mouse over your guns with the ammo already loaded. You'll see a circle around your ship, that's the range of the weapon. This works with all modules that have a range.

CN antimatter and CN thorium if you don't have t2 if you do then it's null and void for blasters
