So I was one of the lucky many that got blessed with the handshake problem yesterday, Sunday 18th March. Ever since, and I make a new post as I gather from the original thread that this has been fixed, whenever I have tried to log in I get the launcher window fine and then afterwards after a delay a window called Eve Online which is just white and nothing to click.

I play on a mac so have no handy repair exe tool.

I have cleared the caches by going into client directory and nothing.

I have downloaded a whole new client and bingo - exactly same problem.

Any ideas anyone?

PS I have no idea about Applescript or Terminal etc :)

KK I sorted this by basically killing all the preference files I could find - anyone can help on where overview files etc were?

Whenever I want to find the overview file I:

Save the current overview with a memorable name
Use the Finder search function to find that file.

You got to be in the prefs folder for this to work, the finder will not search there otherwise.

Last time I did this (and still seems valid)
