Hi CCP Punkturis, got a request from the web developers out here...can we pretty pretty please get CCPEVE.setDestination() for the IGB to set destinations to stations as well as solarsystems?

We were so happy and overjoyed when we could set destination in game to a station. But the IGB apparently did not get the memo. Any chance of that poking its head up in a nearby sprint?
I've forwarded this suggestion to the developers responsible for the autopilot feature.
Your reference numbers are D# 76472 / CLs 351708 and 351759. Keep them safe, will be out soon. Will apply to setDestination and addWaypoint.

With regards to the watchlist, I'm still having issues with broadcast icons ("Need Shield", "Need Armor", etc.) lingering much too long. I presume that hunting the cause for the staleness is on some bug list somewhere, but until the cause is found and extinguished, could we get a watchlist right-click action (similar to the new "clear watchlist") to clear the broadcast icons? (Functionally similar to the "Clear Broadcasts" action in the fleet broadcast history panel.)

So far, I'm very happy with 1.5. The (Mac) client has improved by leaps and bounds since I joined up in September.

Just a few requests that would make this Gallente pilot even happier:

1) Can we drag and drop drones into and out of groups, and;

2) Can we do that, and see drone groups, in the drone bay views in the fitting window and in station?

3) Can you add damage bars to the view of the drones in bay so that we don't send injured drones to replace injured drones? And so that, when we're in station, we can quickly see that we need to do repairs before heading out again?

Thanks for your consideration, and for the work you've put in so far.

Proud founder and member of the Belligerent Desirables.

I voted in CSM X!

Funny how you're always participating in the other threads not having to do with programming, and yet you're the software director.

Or maybe not for all of the people who can't play Eve because you released a launcher that was not sufficiently tested...

I remember in an earlier patch the fleet finder window now automatically loads all available fleets without having to click the "Find Fleets" button. How about extending this functionality to your wallet, Industry jobs, and corporation wallet?

Also, can we please have more corporation book marks, and the ability to put them in corporation folders? 250 is far too little. Something like a 5000 cap would be very much appreciated, and with folders, you shouldn't lag too much when opening them up.

Also, when generating a link in a mail, notepad, or similar form, why exactly when trying to generate a hyperlink do we have to remote the http:// from the link in order for it not to be broken?

Example:

http://i.imgur.com/Qahn0.png

Using the link generator, the hyperlink ends up being http://https://www.google.com/

You end up copy + pastaing the link anyways, why should we have to remote the http:// in order for it to work? or better yet, allow us to just simply highlight + rightclick text and create a hyperlink instead, rather than having to go through a clumsy link generator menu.

CCP Punkturis and I discussed this a couple of weeks ago and this is one of the things on her list when redoing this window.

What are the odds of having the option to color code the system names on the Personal Assets tab? Specifically high sec green, low sec orange and null sec green.

Would like to see two further changes to the UI. Firstly I would like to see the minimized windows returned to the bottom of the screen, but keeping the new icons. It would also be useful if they would open up - or rather "preview" these minimized windows by hovering my pointer over them. Pretty much like I can do on windows 7 when I have a lot of stuff going on. Secondly, it's about time to do something about the shield/armour/structure/cap... thingy. It takes far to much roomand some of the icons around it could be moved elsewhere. Also it can be too easy to accidently overload modules

One thing I would like to see is to be able to use hotkey commands from members selected in the watchlist. Some fleets that are run have the FC or some other act as an "anchor" that they either orbit or keep at range from. Would make things very simple if all we had to do was left click our anchor in the watchlist and hit 'E' for keep at range for default or whatever the orbit button is. It would make things MUCH simpler when dropping from a titan on a hostile fleet. Currently we have to right click then go to keep at range, then select the distance. Would this be difficult to implement?

Made this in the other thread for CCP karkur if you could try and make it happen. :)

Alright, I have a SUPER TEENY TINY LITTLE MINISCULE INCONCEIVABLY Small suggestion :

If you right click on your ship / capacitor you can "Add Location" and open the "create a bookmark" window without needing to go through people and places.

This would save me a bit of trouble with always needing to switch to the people and places tab whenever i need to drop bookmarks. It's available on objects in space for the most part, so why not on your own ship representing your own location?

Thanks!

Aggressive lobbying is a successful tactic. :)

I'm glad my petitions to the nations of Punkturistan and Karkuribad have been received.

Hey there,

thanks for the lovely small changes!

I just flew around, shooting some rats when I noticed another thing that has been bugging me for quite a while now:
When I want to jump in a neighboring system, there is no indication of its security status. Of course, there are multiple ways to check this:

  1. Show info on the Stargate, then in the Jumps tab show info on the system
  2. Set the Stargate as a waypoint
  3. Put the name in the chat, auto-link and click it
  4. Don't disable the security notifications for Low- and Nullsec (though I really don't want to keep them, because it's not only about these 2, but also about the lower security status in Highsec for "better" rats and anomalies, when just flying around)

So my request is the following: Please add the security status to Stargates in the overview. Either color code them or even better add the color coded number as you did with the Route tab in the info for systems (good job, btw! Blink). It would help when just cruising around some systems without setting up a specific route before.

Then ... there is another thing that came into my mind when I first played EVE quite a while ago and then repeatedly cams into my mind again every time I tried to get the overview into a state that I'm happy with. But I have to warn you, it's unfortunately not a little improvement. Oops
I would like for the overview to be sortable using multiple columns. (Okay, I admit it, I'm a nerd.)
For example sorting by ship type (primary) and by distance (secondary), like a corp mate just replied to my idea. That would also prevent living targets from mixing up with the loot cans of dead ones - if you have both activated in your overview. So many cool things you could do with this. Sorting by two columns is probably enough and easier to implement then sorting by an arbitrary amount of columns.
If you think this idea is useful and find some time alongside the awesome changes coming this year, I would really appreciate it.

Thank you!

It's me again. Roll

I was just writing some bug reports (yeah, that's the only reason I log into the game ... not P), when I noticed another little thing, that could be improved.

While writing the bug reports my wallet was blinking all the time and I wondered - what the hell is going on with my wallet, I didn't do anything. I then noticed, it was not blinking for my wallet, but for the corporation wallet. I thought: "What do I care about the corporation wallet? Let's disable this annoying blinking for it, but keep it for my own wallet." Looking into the settings tab I unfortunately realized, that it is not possible to configure the blinking individually Sad.

My request is the following: Please add individual options for my private and the corporation wallet.

Thank you!
