Quickest way to make a PLEX?

Hey all!
First some background info... my guy is 21 days old and i subscribed last week. so i have about 30 days left..

In that time im going to attempt to make a PLEX. since im new everything is fun so i wont mind grinding ISK (except missions. no missions!!!Blink)

so whats the best way? I have some planetary interactions going on. some trade skills and the best ship i can fly is a thorax..

would the best way to make money be mining? trading? trading would take alot of knowledge..

some more info: I should have 430m isk coming from the guy who signed me up for the trial, but I would really like to make my own money..

EDIT: and i just got podded for the first time today... so i lost about 15m in isk and ship stuff. lol.. one day... when i get better im going to kill the roughly 11 guys who killed me!!!!!! muahahhahaha

Salvaging is probably the easiest way for new players to make enough isk to get a plex.

There's a channel called - Free Wrecks - I think it might still be active. It has mission runners who give bookmarks to their sites for new players to salvage.

Or you could just advertize in local chat in the major mission hubs - ask if any high level mission runners want to donate their wrecks. Can check map stats for systems with a lot of NPC kills.

Then there is Ninja Salvaging but that includes being able to scan for ships. Goggle for more info, there's also videos posted on YouTube about it.

Another option is to fit up a combat frigate with a Salvaging module and continuously run the 1/10 and 2/10 DED static complexes. Check map for DED Deadspace Reports. Look for areas where a lot of complexes are located near each other.

The last option for salvaging is basically just visit each asteroid belt and salvage the rat wrecks left by mining ships.


As for you getting podded, you must have ventured into low security. There's really no reason for you to go there since high sec has a lot better chance for collecting salvage due to having more players.

Have a look at the link in my signature, one of my guides talks about making isk as a newbie.

A TL;DR would be : ninja salvaging if you're up for it, otherwise missions or exploration combined with some trading on an alt.

I made my first plex at 1month 1/2 by ratting in nullsec (moved in to nullsec at a 1 month old), so thats a possible way if you can get out there safley/get in a good corp Smile

(providence for me aswell, so relativly poor compared to the rest of 0.0)

What is the BEST way to earn money for a PLEX? Or what is the FASTEST way to earn money for a PLEX?

Hands down the fastest way to earn money in the game is to trade. It is also the most risky profession. In ship based PvP, you only have to worry about losing the ship you are flying. In market PvP, you can lose tens of billions of ISK in mere seconds.
