You seem to be under the mistaken impression that Eve-Online isn't about terror, repression, conflict, etc... It very much is. Nearly every act you take in game to your benefit has a negative for someone else. Every single time you play the game you are making life more difficult for someone else.

Even if you're one of those poor unfortunate souls destined to always be the victim of better players you should still vote for The Mittani. He knows Eve better than anyone else. Remember that if you fail to vote for The Mittani, anything bad that happens to you is your fault and yours alone.
