"New" sun effects

During my most recent break from EVE I purchased a new computer and, admittedly, this is the first time I've been able to run the game at high graphics. So I'm not sure if this is a new issue or not, but the sun flickering damn near gives me a seisure on a regular basis. Trying to avoid these sun effects is good practice for burning out to a gate to escape a bubble, as I often find myself spinning the camera 180 degrees as quickly as I possibly can.

I got a new computer a couple months ago and also was able to finally play Eve on high settings. Performance is great and the graphics are excellent.

I haven't noticed any problem of flickering from the sun.

Go into settings, there's a "sun is occluded by x" option, untick that. See if it makes a difference.

Excellence is not a skill, it's an attitude.

Check to see if your drivers are the very latest version. EVE tends to prone to graphic issues if you are not up to date.
