Revamp Missions?

Will CCP ever design or redsign missions for the solo player? I have done PVP and Faction Warefare but I keep comming back to missions. I would love either some harder level 4's or some high sec level 5's that pay the same as a 4. Give us some missions that we can do solo or with an alt or two that require some thought and gives us a chance that we might lose our precious exspensive mission runner.

Why not run them in a different ship, like an AF, instead? Then you get your more fun and more risk, but without having to change missions around.

Missions aren't designed to be the 'end game' PvP content, they're just something that's out there to do. If you want more challenge, there's plenty of other stuff to do too.

As far as PVP "been there done that" I did not see when I signed up for this game that I HAD to do anything other than missions. Why do people think that because they dont really care about running missions everyone else should think the same thing? I just want more content for what I want to do in EVE. It has not changed much since I started playing and would like to know if the devs are looking at any meaningful changes?

Working for the angels/sansha in curse and stain respectively fits those criteria.

Level 5 missions
DED complexes 6/10 and higher
Wormholes
Epic arcs

These are also located in low/null space so they perfectly fit in with your "I want to risk my ship" philosophy.
Running level 4 missions in an inferior ship is also an option listed by the other poster.
If you want harder missions even with reduced rewards in high sec however, you are out of luck.

No one said you HAD to do anything other than missions. You can continue to do missions for forever and the Devs won't try to stop you (some players might try to kill you, but that's just part of Eve).

However, you can't expect CCP to cater the game to you just because you don't want to do anything else. The point remains that there IS content out there to do, you're simply CHOOSING not to do it.

Now, one thing that I've done for more than a year now, close to two years in fact, is soloing L4s in t1 cruisers, or even t1 destroyers. No special tank, always omnitank, no faction mods, mostly t2 mods, and t1 ammo (except for WC in a Caracel, where precision missiles are vital for those web frigs)

I have achieved much of what you desire. Very hard and genuinely challenging missions. Every mission+ship is a new puzzle to solve. And you have to actively fly the mission every second

What have I given up? Slavery to isk. That grindfest hard, monotonous work to earn as much isk as possible
- Oh my gawd, what a loss!
But you know, when you can do Mordus Folly in an Osprey, you really don't need that much millions of isk any longer

If CCP ever figured to cater to morons like me, they could figure to make special agents that provide the L4 missions with ship constrictions to t1-cruisers, and L3 missions with constrictions to t1-frigates. And then have them pay much better. That would be nice of them, so likely won't happen.

I think I've decided not to care about what CCP do any longer. They themselves said long ago: "adapt". So I do. But not the way they want me to.
