CCP is changing drone drops to bounties.

1) Look at how much space has drones as the npc.
2) Pick you jaw off the ground when you realize the implications.
3) Buy a Hulk.
4) Move to highsec and mine all day.
5) .... Profit?!?!

Not to point fingers but this coincides with a group of changes, most all of which mess up a lot of what Death and Solar had going.

Besides that, you just nerfed nullsec! The drone regions were an area where an alliance or corp could rat, and build stuff, and become a stronger force, and be independent of highsec, because, mining is not exactly the reason a lot of ppl play. Now these people will just go to Jita, and heck with whats happening, why even leave highsec. We can just run incursions and mine all day.

CCP changed directions, my only concern is if the Mittani and CSM have the map rightside up.

the reason most people move to nullsec is for the big bucks. Sanctums, escalations, 10/10s etc.
Mining is not as profitable and/or as safe.

It's true, mining is growing more viable each day, relative to mission running and iskursions. The ISK rewards from missions, bounties and iskursions are fixed. Because of inflation, the value of these fixed ISK rewards diminish over time.

On the otherhand, the value of ore and minerals continue to keep pace with inflation.

According to Eve-Survival, you can mine for zydrine in empire if you look for Arkonor in one particular level 2 mission: Artifact Recovery

I'm not sure about grav sites though. I haven't done those in a while.

The only grav sites that show up in hi-sec are the lo-sec ores (in addition to the hi-sec ores). I haven't heard of any ABC pockets showing up in hi-sec. Or maybe folks aren't telling others about their finds.

Mining profit still relies on a 0% loss of ship and in EVE you might as well be asking for a fixed wormhole to Jita

ABC is in C1 and 2 Wormholes............in High Sec.
