The missiles are a lie (Roden shipyards)

I noticed something funny today

Roden shipyard's description reads as follows:

Unlike most Gallente ship manufacturers, Roden Shipyards tend to favor missiles over drones and their ships generally possess stronger armor. Their electronics capacity, however, tends to be weaker than ships from their competitors.

Now the ships roden builds are:

the Ares, the Enyo, the Lachesis, the Phobos, the eris, and the oneiros

Now from those six ships, only two (the eris and lachesis) receive some small bonusses to missiles.
and only one (unless you don't count RR as electronics, than it's two) are ships that are not dependant on electronics for their primary role.

It seems to me that the roden description would better be adjusted to reflect this. So: yes poor in drones, and yes stronger armor, but with a focus on hybrids and electronics, rather than poor electronics and heavy on missiles.

No no don't change the Roden shipyards description.

Just give the ships bonuses to missiles... hmm... oneiros with missile launchers...

Ok maybe not :p

WOW. Great observation. So many things in EVE, it gets overwhelming with all the text that one's eyes glaze over most of it.

I always knew there were inconsistencies like this, but never bothered to check them out.

Why thanks, i only noticed by pure chance, we were discussing invention.

And soon the discussion was about the pro's and cons of certains ships, which is when we noticed something wrong with this desciption :D

I KNOW I must've read that description more than a few times, and it just slid right past. I'm looking for a few others as the opportunity arises. So far I'm finding only typos (a few prepositions left out of the Mordu's Legion description, etc. )

IIRC, all of the Roden Shipyads T2 ships used to have split weapon systems, way back before invention was around. The description simply was never updated to match the changes that were made to the other Roden ships.

Roden Shipyards ships also have the useless static legacy "missile launchers" like the drake.
