Seen a lot of posts on Ganking lately, so I'd throw my 2 ISK in the arena.

First sugestion and easiest to implement. the overmap.
Set it to show ships\pod kills in the last 30 min, if a spot ahead of your path is showing a blob. GO AROUND Damn fools...

second a Q SHIP.

this would be a CCP thing. A transport which dosent have alot of cargospace, has armor and shields plus small weps.
and a bonus that confuses ship scanners to show it as the transport its bases off of.
Not shure if this can be done in game already. But figure I throw it out.




And third: the cargo bomb: sits in your hold, takes up a good chunk of space, and leaves nothing but chunky bits if the ship dies.

As a drawback i would put in that the driver dosent get out slows the ship and defnitly takes up a lot of room.

Or just outsource expensive/bulk hauling. People haul for dirt cheap rates and in doing so you also insulate yourself from losses. Shipment blew up? Awesome, instant liquidation of assets.

Also, there is no reason to haul small but expensive items in a hauler, Covops ships and cloaky t3s and instant undocks are your friends. If you are truly paranoid, haul during super late USTZ.
