What would cause my settings to reset?

Yes, a patch was released recently that caused a settings reset. I don't think it was 1.5 itself, but one of the hotfixes released afterward.

Yup, that happens at times with updates. Best thing you can do is export your overview for safekeeping, it doesn't save ALL settings though (this is EVE afterall, doing it properly would be too easy) but it does help.

It didn't happen to everyone, e.g. none of my 3 accounts were reset after 1.5 or any patch after that.
