By reading all your gabble, I did notice the fact that you think the TQ and Sisi use the same client files.
I'm sorry to inform you that this is not the case and that you cannot use your TQ client to log into Sisi no matter how often you yell on the forums and demand it to happen.

You see sisi is a test server and the client build used there is in any way different from the live TQ client. You asking for the Launcher to give you an option to select to log into TQ or Sisi from the same folder is in no way possible.

If CCP decides to do something like that because of your weeping then you would still need two seperate Eve folders one for TQ and one for Sisi, but you could use the Launcher to select which one of the Clients you want to run.

Kind regards,
Nebula

Read more carefully - he knows that TQ and SiSi are different clients requiring two installs. He wants a single interface to select which of teh two clients to launch. Maybe have the launcher handle the installation and maintenance of the test server without requiring manual user interaction - such as what Blizzard does with WoW.

I stand corrected, by going back to the page 2 I noticed it beeing mentioned in one of his posts, I somehow skiped that one.

Op if you want an custom made launcher instead of the CCP one, send me a mail and we will work something out....10% ISK discount for not reading one of your replys. :)

Hope you will read this - isn't that against the EULA?

Only if you try to sell stuff for real money.

Creating apps for the community was never a problem, that's why we have the Eve Technology Forum section.

You might just post your idea over there too and I bet someone will just make you such a launcher for free, might even be me. :)

Back off, this one is MINE Lol

To the OP, I think this is exactly what you wanted. Includes source code, so you can check the source code and build it yourself if you think I'm after your keys.

I make no warranty, either expressed or implied. Source code is terrible and uncommented (I literally put it together in an hour). I didn't do any error checking at all, so it will throw an exception if you don't point it to your EVE path, or if you cancel out from any dialog boxes.

I added a check box which skips the launcher - it doesn't do anything crazy, it just runs the ExeFile.exe file instead of eve.exe.

Well done! I hope that CCP sees your work and learns from it. Will send some ISK as appreciation.

I hope there's a keylogger built into that.

As I mentioned, you can check the source code yourself if you are afraid about security. This is a very simple program, so it should be very easy to verify with a little bit of technical knowledge.

Install Sisi like you did before. launch it like you did before. The "sisi launcher" will show you TQ status but its still Sisi
