Baby Carrots. The little ones that come in a bag, pre-skinned and ready to munch on.

Have some dip or salt with it of your preference (like for use with chips), or just plain.

As a caution... do not get crackers and soda. They are a fantastic snack combo (Cheese-Itz and Coke <3) but form what is essentially organic CEMENT in your body and the constipation that results from a night spent snacking on them is not something I would wish on anyone. Straight

Coke wins for drinks because it doesn't go flat quickly. RC cola and Pepsi, root beers, fruit flavored sodas... all go flat in what seems like half the time as a coke. If you want something other than coke, get cans.

For snacks and non-crumblyishness that would be chocolate-coated, still salty to go with soda, and bite size. Thinking chocolate covered mini pretzels. Get them from a pretzel company and they'll probably be saltier and cheaper than from a candy company.

Also going to second the recommendation for spicy rice crackers. Around here I can't buy them in a regular store and need to go to like a dollar store or a gas station mart, but they are excellent desk snacks as long as your hands stay dry.

I don't usually like to mix sugar with soda, just an overload to me, but if I did I would go for twizzlers and cherry coke.

I've rocked the cherry coke and twizzlers before. While it's amazing while you're eating them, the resulting gastrointestinal disapproval renders enjoyment moot.

Keep up the good comments, guys. We've got one of the most helpful threads now.

Grapes, peanuts, rasins, jerky, tiny carrots, pop tarts, twinkies and all that sort of little debbie crap. Can get a big bag of frozen fries, bake em for 30-40 mins at 450.

For the drink, tea. Drop a few ice tea bags in a pitcher and fill with water. Even with cold water and ice it only takes about 30 mins to "brew". I don't add sugar to it, nasty.

What's a Twiglet?

What's a Marmite?

WHAT ARE THESE THINGS?

I hadn't thought about KFC. It sounds delicious, but a bit on the greasy side.

No, no, fried chicken requires two hands. Leaving zero hands for operating a keyboard or a mouse. All the dangers of being afk, but worse because you get to watch yourself asplode while you're trying to figure out what to do with that greasy half-eaten chicken breast. Only one-handed snacks should be considered.

I second cheese and crackers. They're ideal if you get the smaller varieties, pre-slice the cheese (of multiple flavours) and have a couple of different dips.

For drink, I'd recommend a soft drink (pepsi, cola, dr pepper, etc) of your choice mixed with your choice of fruit juice - about 1 unit soft drink to 3 unit juice - and optionally a bit of alcohol if that's to your taste.

I can also highly recommend a large bowl of french fries with dip, sliced fruit and biscuits (smaller ones you can eat in one go).

Of course you can just order a huge pizza and cut it up into smaller bitesized pieces, that is always an option too.
