Looks like the PLEX market is finally crashing!

Prices are down a bit and looks like the lowest has finally reached 470m out in the galaxy. Could this be due to the summer slump or is this just a stop gap? It's hard for me to tell if I should hold off buying.

Prices are the same or even up a little in Jita, who cares if "the lowest" in some backwater is a small fraction lower?

When some one wants to manipulate it, they will either drive prices UP or liquidate, either way you will always hear the exact opposite of whats going on in game via forums.

At the current state of the market, I think artificial inflation of all goods based on Minerals is the only thing pushing the PLEX up.

Bots are being taken out, the devs are finally doing something about the, once extreme amount of bots on the market, these bots where the main reason the prices where being driven up, to keep the bots profitable, I.E RMT chinese goldfarmers.
If bot constantly updates 20-30 multiple buy orders every 5 seconds, then they get all of the plex, while actual people eventually just kept inflating the PLEX item millions per day, causing the stuff the bots bought last week to be valued 10-20M more per item (profit)

Its impossible to say where the market will sway as of right now, but all of us learned a whole lot on how to properly deal with PLEX inflation.

Well, the simple answer is "now that Fanfest purchasers are done buying Fanfest tickets with PLEX, demand will fall".

Plus CCP just did another bulk PLEX promotion (I think there was a 30-pack?).

Plus it's getting into spring, and the next expansion is a long ways off, so folks may be letting accounts lapse for a month or three.
