thats an uncommonly smart move for someone supporting a joke candidate who will want to be able to claim more votes than you would expect from accidentally trying to vote for someone else but voting issler instead

They are not abusing the voting system. Coersion, bribery and scamming people into voting for a particular candidate happen each election. Also bear in mind most of The Mittani's votes came from outside his alliance... while Goons are going to make up most of Mittani's votes this year (last year they had a split vote) a great number of people who are not Goons also vote Mittani.
