I have an excellent tale to tell of the EVE Launcher killing my computer. I decide in the midst of reading about Japan's military (Yes they have one) to play some EVE online. I open my EVE folder and launch eve.exe, I go back to reading my article, patiently waiting for eve online to start up. After a few minutes of not starting i begin to wonder whats going on. I fire up taskmgr to see if it is indeed starting up or if my computer is being strange. I open the processes tab and to my horror see over 200 processes (It soon reached over 300 by the time i got pics)! Over 180 of them were instances of the EVE Launcher, and they were replicating! Every few seconds a new one would pop up, and then another! What started as just one eve Launcher instance became an army! Each taking up more RAM every second they were running. My computer couldn't keep up and it quickly reached its breaking point and ran out of RAM. Before it died (I actually euthanized by shutting it down) i managed to get a screen shot and a copy of some call back exception error that popped up whenever i tried to "end process" on one of the launchers

Background information
I was logged into a student account which does not have install privileges, well barely any at all to be honest. I usually am logged into an administrator account where it works fine

It might help to have a Launcher/Patcher be run using an ADMIN account since it does have to interact with a lot of files and make some changes to the game at least...

Any way you can launch as admin and see if it does the same thing again?
