Hello

I was wondering if anyone knew of an IGB site that scans the market (automatically) for items that you can manually set the search criteria for the items you want it to scan for.. I know of a site that does a scan of the market region you are that scans very large groups of random items, but I didn't see a tool to scan for only the items you are specifically looking for.

Any help?

Thanks.

Eve Mentat is an application u can download.
It has option for link to local file which options your igb & cycles through items that u have market orders up for.
After which u can pick it to grab the info from market cache.

V. nice app for helping to manage if u got a large number for orders & like to keep track.
Also abilty to manual set your cost price aswell & highlight which orders u are beening undercut by

I do use Mentat but was hoping to find something that didn't require market orders and I could just set a "list" of items to specifically scan automatically to find deals that I don't already have on market.

grab the page eve mentat creates.

Fill in your own list of things to check. hack out the bit that changes the display.

Done. sure, it's not elegant, but it works.

I think eve marketeer also lets you set up your own scanning pages.

Scanning script is quite easy to create manually, I gave simple example here:

The cache-reading part is harder, but I believe most market-uploaders will upload anything in cache, so you can just use one which work with whatever site/program you are using.

The unified uploader from Eve Marketeer will allow you to add your own endpoints too (if you're up to writing a page that'll take in the data and do something with it.)

EVE-MarketData's (EMD) market scanner page does break down the market into multiple segments.

Everything
Modules
Ammo, Drones
Manufacturing
Ships

EveMarketeer (EMK) is supposed to have "custom lists" that you can define, but I think that is currently broken. However, just like EMD, there's a drop-down on the scanning page which lets you select from a list of:

Ammo
Blueprints
Everything
Minerals
PI
Salvage
Ships
Tech II
Trade Goods

I can't remember whether Eve-Central (EC) market scanner (upload suggestions) page has sub-groups or not.

So, you'll probably want to keep an eye on the EMK functionality and see whether they add back in the "custom lists" feature.

In the meantime, EVE MarketData also has a feature where you can call a custom URL containing the item id's of the things you want to scan, which will then (presumably, never tried it myself) scan those items.

I really need to get that upload page fixed.... :S

Eve Addicts can do just that.
On the market scanner page, you can create lists of items that you can scan (in an infinite loop, until you stop it).

You will also be able to access the API page with the list number and your key to retrieve price info from all the items in the list.

I am working on the API stuff atm, so for now only the scan stuff works.
