New parts? Like what?

First and formost, do you have an Anti Virus program running? If so disable/uninstall it and try "Extracting" the full install again.

If not then you may have a hardware/memory issue.

Could be, but I also caution to "Disabled" AV as sometimes it still likes to tamper with stuff. You may want to delete it until you are all patched up. Just a thought.

Also if you are dabling in Overclocking or using any sort of "Gaming" ram without setting the timings and voltages manually (to what the RAM says it was supposed to be set at) can cause ever so slight memory issues that cause these issues.

Will do, thanks. I haven't done any overclocking and it's all the original settings.

I assume you are building the machine. Good practice to manually set your Memory timing and voltage to what was reccomended from the company. Sometimes the auto stuff isn't always followed well and on top of that, some motherboards like to undervolt/overvolt the ram. Getting that dialed in manually can help make problem solving a bit easier.

Also run a good memtest86 just for the heck of it and once things are set, you may also wanna run a good Stress Test to make sure nothing fails under preasure. Heck EVE is a ok stress test for your GPU in the CQ with Interval set to unlimited lol.

Just keep tabs on your Temps with HWinfo32 (or 64)

Not building, but I'm upgrading it instead since it was a stock computer. I also uninstalled the antivirus and getting the same error. I used to be able to download eve with no issues, so I don't know if it's something ccp did with the installer or my hdd just took a crap or the ram.
