There is no reason to use T2 SPRs instead of Meta 4. The stats are identical except the Meta 4 takes 8 less CPU to fit. The cost difference is negligible -- < 100,000 ISK in my trade hub.

Because it's a very marginal step up from a Raven. It tanks like a beast, but it won't complete missions any faster (unless you count the marginal benefit of an additional painter, in which case its tank isn't quite as beastly) and so will take forever to pay for itself. This is in contrast to the CNR, which sports 17% more damage than a Raven with identical damage application.

It fits some play styles, but I struggle to see it as a serious alternative to the CNR/Tengu gank line of mission ships.

Each to his own I guess. But calling a built in 5% shield resistance bonus per level and additional 2 med slots (for a really massive tank/ECCM/SeBo/Tp/whathaveyou) 'marginal' is unjustified to say the least.

What does a SNI cost these days? 300M?
One week of missioning, perhaps. I wouldn't call it 'forever', but this really is very individual.

I maintain my position, the SNI is a superior alternative to the Raven.
