Hi,

Sorry for the wierd title. I am trying to find a P2-P4 setup for P4's like nano-factories which take 2P3's+1P1 as mats for the P4 (rather than 3xP3's like normal).

I am unsure if I should be storing that extra P2 mat in a LP, route it through a silo etc, as well as the overall setup of the factory. Could use some help designing a setup.

Further, I am unsure if I need to be dealing with expidited transfer, as I have no experience using it. Some help there would be nice.

Thanks much,

Deg

It's pretty easy to design a factory setup

nano factories take 4 advanced feeding 1 high tech from p3 to p4, and each p3 takes 2 advanced feeding into a p3 to keep everything running. So you'll need 4 AIF's per high tech and at least 1 space port

Having more storage planetside is only needed to reduce the number of times you need to load/offload your planet. Everything can be done with just 1 spaceport if you do daily maintenance, though adding a few extras makes life easier

I have a factory planet that does p2-p4 setup like this

the breakdown of pins is thi

2 Spaceport
1 Extracto
4 Extractor Pin
3 High tec
12 Advance
3 basic

This setup extracts the p1 from the planet itself while i feed the P2s in.

If you plan on buying the p1's as well or importing them in then you can drop the extractor and basics and go with 5 high tecs and 20 advanced facilities and add another storage facility.
