Is it just me or are the logged in number low today?
With any luck, CCP did another round of bot-wacking. Smile

maybe the launcher has proved to be the anti-launcher?
( i have nothing against it btw, besides it hating on evemon for some reason )

i just locked an open door.. strange, yet symbolically compelling.

Bitter-vets not logging in their super characters? Or all the alts they need to move them around? Oops

Perhaps CCP underestimated the fallout from angry bitter-vets with 10 - 20 or more accounts, Most Titan pilots have at least that many.....Cool

+1 for bot whacking. The numbers fluctuate. Titan tears are on... but I think we will see a spike after fanfest. It's an important moment for CCP particularly after last summer... and I'm wagering they deliver in spades (because they can). I think people will be excited about the future again after the keynote. Just my 2 isk...

Signatures should be used responsibly...

seriously looks like a loggin high of 34,000 today, about -10,000 from Monday or any other ordinary weekday.

Could be: Titan nerf news and they all RageQuit,

New Anti-Bot mechanics working all too well,

There's also a lot of people playing Mass Effect. I know it's been eating into my RL productivity lately. I also don't usually put a lot of time into EVE right after a patch, because there is always stuff that is not working right for about a week or so.

Actually, 43k for a Wednesday has been a very recent peak number, with 40k being a much more common number, but we're not at peak hour yet and we're in a period when they've killed a lot of 23.5/7 accounts. Come back in three hours or so and see what the peak is.

I logged in this morning maybe15 minutes after dt and there were only a few hundred people. Normally there is a few thousand and I had to double check to see I didn't accidentally start the Sisi client. There was an update after DT and people have been having problems with this new launcher thing... even CEO's of large IT companies.Lol

Seems like it peaked at 41k — a little less than previous weeks, but not out of line compared to the other post-bot-ban evenings.
