Hi Brainy people

I purchased a new computer for work which is able to run Eve.

I downloaded the client from the account management website.

First issue would not download to non directory, not knowing what the hell im doing i downloaded it to a custom path

c\Eve. seemed to do the trick and it downloaded,

Now at the log-in screen and i get connection failed, and a host of reasons, the first two i can cross off the list as the connection is good and the server is running as the launcher says people are online.

Server address or port number wrong though i have not got a clue what this means, also at the log in it gives the server name as Tranquility but underneath it says status unknown.

Any ideas?

Apologies if this has been dealt with before, complete airhead when it comes to the technical computer stuff.

Maybe blocked by some ultra restrictive firewall? Which solution are you using (if any at all?). Also, which version of Windows? Windows 7 I assume?

yep Windows 7

Having had a good look around these forums and the internet, i think you might be right, think its the company firewall. How to resolve it i have no idea.
