for a while now Ive been buying my plex's to maintain 2 accounts (one of which is not mine, but am getting paid for it)
A single Plex cost 19.95, and 2 cost 34.99 <- thats good value, But 6 costs 104.97 ??? thats like an extra 10/15 dollars off reasonable Value.(granted Ive paid it b4 but that not the point)
Point is they should implement a Plex Amount Calculator like Id have to pay 60.xx(+/-) for 3 but i really should be paying something around 48.xx(+/-) a payer should be able to type in how many he(or myself) wants to buy (to the max of 28 let say) and calculate to the proper Real Cash amount for these Plex's I cant always afford to buy 6 when I really only need 3/4.

My apologies If i confuse anyone.
Just saying the with PLEX PURCHASING prices their should be given a few other options.

I have a problem with this:

If i buy in US a plex for 60 days cost me 34.99 US Dollar = 26 Euro
If i buy in Europe a Plex for 60 days that cost me 30,49 Euro. So just because i am living somewhere else i have to pay 4,50 Euro or 6 US Dollars more.

I have a real problem with that.

so are you saying they're too expensive? -I pay in USD anyway and CAD isnt that much better.

the issue here is you buy plex for your subscription when its cheaper to subscribe... 1 plex is $20 1 month is $15 or you can buy a year for like $120

thats not the point of the topic is it. I know it is cheaper via subscription. but it easier for me to pay for another's persons account with plex's.
And since i pay USD its still around 20$ for me anyway (18.68 CAD$).

It makes it easier for him to sell me in game for virtual money and thus pay my account.Cool

Say thank you to your government. EU decided it would be fun to have VAT on all online transactions. Thats what you are paying.

The 6-PLEX cost is 3x the 2-PLEX cost (2 x 3 = 6!), which is essentially 17.49 and a 1/2 cent per PLEX. All further prices work off of this model, except that special 13-PLEX deal they've offered, which was virtually 13 months of time for just above $15 per month/PLEX (total of $200). Was a damn good deal for non-subscription, and made the 12 PLEX option pointless for that time. I will agree it would be nice if it slimmed, but I reiterate that I think $17.49 per month/PLEX is still a pretty decent deal for non-subscription.
(If you don't believe me when I say it's the same amount per PLEX, use this thing called a calculator. Your PC generally has a software variant built-in, since PCs are essentially calculators with more powerful processors, anyway)

Perhaps we could eventually see it go so that the 28 PLEX option skirts the $15/month rate, which is what you initially seemed to be suggesting. Or we just insist they offer the 13 for $200 at least once a year or something, much like the Power of Two deal.

In any case, as it stands, if you want just 4 PLEX, just buy the 2-pack twice. It's as cost effective as any higher option on a per-PLEX basis, but you get close to the number you really want.

But, yes, they should just offer 4 for $69.98, or otherwise let you specify how many you want, and then show the appropriate cost.

(would kind of like to see it shave off a 1/2 cent per PLEX as it goes up, too, but that might be asking too much. Like, as it stands, it's $34.99 for 2, but it would be $52.47 for 3, $69.94 for 4, $87.40 for 5, $104.85 for 6, etc... otherwise, you'd either have to round up or down for the odd-numbered PLEX, which either meant odd-numbered would save or cost you a half-cent... yeah, I know, so what, it's half a cent)

VAT isn't that high.


Actually yes it is.

In the UK VAT is now roughly 20%, 20% of 26 euros is 5.2, so we're actually getting 0.7 euros discount on our tax to be honest.

When we pay for subscription, GTC or PLEX from the CCP website then we have to pay in EUROS and are charged tax. However, it's easy to get around, simply don't buy from CCP, go to a reseller and buy GTC from them in US dollars.
