Excellent work from the guys and gals of Team Super Friends.

Much appreciated UI tweaks and improvements.

Also, CHART! :3

yay! Big smile

This chart provides detailed data that tells us that "Punkturis being sick is bad for EVE players". Logical conclusion is that you are no longer allowed to get sick.

Please can we have drag and drop of fleetmembers around the fleet? I.E. drag and drop yourself or others into different squads. Or into squad/wing/fleet command.

Very nice work. The watch list needs some serious love to make it more useful. It is now well on its way.

Unrelated to the watch list, it would still be fantastic to have the market panel flag our buy and sell orders with some obvious color in the market display window.

You have already done something comparable with the color flags of items in our route.

Loving the little things! Some awesome stuff here!!

Now, while you are working on little things... any chance you can bring back the date at the bottom of the left hand corner, please? That was one of those "little things" added back when the Calendar was added to the client that I and many others *adored!*

Now its gone, it's not even an option, and we want it back! Pretty please?

I know CCP Optimal has replied in this thread you linked that it's not going to be added back in, sorry! You'll just have to ask in local what date it is if you can't be bothered to open the calendar! Or ask in the help chat, I'll promise I'll tell you what date it is if I'm there Blink

Ask all the people who "like" to shoot at POSs. I hear they've been counting pixels in photoshop Shocked

I used to keep a ruler on my desk specifically for measuring shield on POS bashes in conjunction with pixels. Photoshop might have been easier though and probably more accurate!

Ya I read Optimal's reply, but what can I say? Sometimes I'm a nag! Big smile

Thing is... a small little tiny number that hardly took up any space at all and required no clicks to view was replaced with multiple clicks and a big pop-up window to achieve the same functionality.

If I haven't moved my Calendar button from the Neocom drop-down menu, I have to navigate through the drop down, open the Calendar, look at the date, then close it again - and while it is open, it's taking up a big percentage of screen real estate and blocking my ability to see anything under it (granted, I'm not opening the Calendar in the middle of a fight but you get the idea).

If I have moved my Calendar button from the Neocom drop-down menu, I'm now adding another button to the Neocom's limited real estate, taking up space that might be better served by a button I use far more often. (Honestly, I'm not trying to stretch the argument here just pointing out an aspect of the precious screen real estate argument). Then, to see the date, I have to click the Calendar open, taking up space, then close it again.

I understand that the date displaying at the bottom of the screen was intended to act as a way to highlight and bring attention to a new client feature - the Calendar - when it was released. While that was the intention, it actually served to make Eve to Local time/date conversions far less confusing for the easily confused and/or lazy. For those of us not easily confused and/or lazy about time/date conversions, it was just a really nice convenient feature that became relied upon instinctively to Just Be There.

So I ask, with my sweetest nicest indoor voice, one woman to another, please, reconsider bringing it back. Or make it an option. Or add a mouse-over hover over the clock. Or a mouse-over on the Calendar button if it is on our Neocom. Or have the Calendar button icon itself display the current date.

I love all the changes in Eve that ya'll have worked so hard on! I really appreciate all that everyone at CCP is doing to make our day-to-day lives in New Eden less clicky, more balanced, beautiful to look at, customizable, effective and responsive. Isn't there some way to squeeze this little thing back in?

Thanks!

There is not an end result of that discussion yet; the server programmers were cautiously optimistic but offered a few suggestions to explore.
