Best ship for autopiloting?

I do a lot of trans-regional travelling, and I'm looking for the outright fastest ship for autopiloting. That means NO afterburner/MWD. I am trained to use Interceptors if that's the fastest.

This would also need to take into consideration warp/align times of course, but I would think that sublight would be more important for autopilot?

Thoughts on best choice?

Either get a T1 Interceptor hull or, if your budget is higher, an interceptor. Load up the lows with overdrives and nanos and rig it for speed, agility, and/or warp speed. If you're AFKing, then any of them will go fast enough to be just fine.

I like using a Crane for that, but that's for moving stuff around. IIRC it can move 2800 m3 of stuff, very quickly on autopilot. If you want to move only yourself and maybe a very few m3, then a smaller hull may well be faster than a Blockade Runner.

Id recomend an ibis .... fitted with 100+ plexes since tests show those will make you move faster.

Any interceptor should do. Before I could fly them I used a vigil which is probably the fastest frigate around.

Each race has a 'ceptor which warps fast and one that warps not so fast.
Mind that.

Vigil is the cheaper alternative.

Vigil with 3 overdrives + 3 warp speed rigs is the best value for money.

Skye Aurora is a 7 year old Girl Who Wants to be on the CSM! Unfortunately, the Lawyers say you have to be 21 - oh well.
