When you try to run 3 or more clients the game becomes like a damn snail slithering true glue, 2 works just fine but any more makes it unbearable, fix this **** please

For the sake of pedantry it is worth noting that "it worked perfectly" means it had acceptable performance between the half-hourly crashes.

I am also experiencing an immediate drop in framerate from >70 FPS to <10 FPS when I open more than one client simultaneously. I get a warning when patching now that I cannot have any running processes in the app directory - perhaps we are now required to maintain separate installations for each instance we intend to run?

The launcher is a seperate application from the looks of it. If you were like me you double-clicked your EVE icon to open a new client. Apparently, the EVE icon now only opens the patcher not a new client. To open a new client you have to click the patcher again where I think it says play. That will open another client.

Actually, that's what I do. At least in my case it makes no difference, performance takes a huge nosedive

Curious but I got a rather new issue since 1.5 and though I am still working to chalk it up to being either new Drivers, Random Reboot Needed glitch, or in fact a bug from the new patch, but I had a major issue with 2 clients with one undocking and the other already in space or otherwise doing what it was doing, that it would pull both clients down to a <10 FPS level, in sort of a studder fassion and the audio would have studder pauses in it as well. A CTRL+ALT+DEL then esc (in Win 7) would usually cause the graphics drivers (methinks) to refresh clearing the issue temporarily. It was a degenerative issue that ended up affecting a single client ran alone (after the 2nd was closed) after a period of time that then could not be cleared by the CAD method. A Close, Cache clear, and relaunch seemed to clear it till I was finished with my task last night.

Has anyone tried a C+A+D then ESC method with their 3 cleints to see if perf would restore if for a temp time?
