The velator does almost double the damage of the other rookie ships???
THIS is unbalanced.
I choose to specialize in the flying of rookie ships and I like to fight other rookie ships, but the velator is just too overpowered.

Untrue you are just not playing to ships strengths while looking at EFT.

Reaper is faster and therefor able to catch Velators off guard in higher numbers whilst Velators do not have the same ability in reverse situations.

Ibis out ranges the Velator while having the same speed giving it a range advantage you are not utilizing.

Impairor is boinked though.

While we're at it, can we get an "HML NERF!" thread? I mean seriously, does it make sense for a cruiser sized weapon to have the range of battleship weapons?

Enyo officer fit get a wooping 700+dps, hey it's op too. (blaster setup)

But I'd take a Jaguar over an Enyo without a problem, go figure why.

Its blasters, they are balanced out with bad range.

Also, nobody officer fits rookie ships

I always wondered about that. The drake and of course tengu are amazing ratting ships and even for pvp in some cases.

Just that flexible, i guess.
