It totally makes sense that goonswarm ruined the game by making their own fleet less powerful, intentionally.

internet spaceships

OP forgot to mention that goons are also to blame for global warming and the potato famine.

Give the quantities of potato chips ingested and farts expelled by goons this is a plausible theory.

You asked me once, what was in Room 101. I told you that you knew the answer already. Everyone knows it. The thing that is in Room 101 is the worst thing in the world.

It is true, we did not care for massive capital fleets that are unbreakable except by other larger capital fleets. We have pushed for changes that make the game more balanced, as previous generations of players have done before us.

We have a large capital fleet, we just don't like to use it because then our newbies in rifters cannot come along. Without our constant influx of newbie rifters, we would not be the corporation we are today. We have to consider the casual player from time to time, and anyone who can afford a titan or super cap is not a 'casual player', by and large.

We use the alpha strike of the Maelstrom to overcome the logistics logjam that exists in major fleet fights. If you were posting with your main, then maybe I could guess how many of those you've attended. If you ever watched the old videos of previous Tournament fights, fights where both fleets can tank the other is boring and makes for poor gameplay. Of course, one side having an 'I win' button is also boring. Have to keep eve interesting.

This is mainly what Goonswarm is about. Keeping Eve interesting. We are trying to keep the game we like alive rather than letting it die a slow death like so many other MMOs out there. If it's not interesting, this game dies, and our fun dies with it.

I wish the Clusterfuck wasn't the only group of players in the game that actually cares about balance. Rather than quietly sitting on whatever one shot win button they've discovered. The only folks complaining about the Titan nerf are those that are too selfish to see the good this will bring.

Its not like the Clusterfuck combined has one of the largest fleets of Super Capitals in the game, which are also going to get nerfed alongside everyone else.

The hyperbolic lies of goonswarms are clear on this one, have you heard of your imbalanced alpha exploiting fleets of maelstroms and the stupid artilleries that need to be nerfed usage everyd ay?

And here we have another lie after lie, Goonswarm doesnt want to keep the game interesting, Goonswarm seeks toa ctively destroy EvE.

Isnt it 2 face lie say you dont like titans which are worth 120b+ your drake which dont go above 50m but its totally fine for your maelstroms to 1 shot anything they wish. Logistics are only boring cause you would lose otherwise?

And you are syaing new "casual" players should be as powerful as veteran who have given time and money to this game, im gonna tell you one thing EvE wont get many new players its not that kinda game. This game will only survive if it takes care of tis veterans, new player influx will NEVER happen.

Not to mention a wonderful graph posted in another thread around here displaying Eve's current record of new players signing up to play.

This was generally the case even before Titans were introduced, and after Titans were introduced. This is usually the case regardless of what sort of ships you show up in.

You're not even trying to think anymore, you're just checking off points on a list of idiotic things to spew on to the forums.

You are wrong, titans allowed smaller but more skill intensive alliances able to defend and compete with the huge nap-fest, blue infested huge 40k people coalitions, now this option has been totally negated and the game loses one extra layer of strategy to the bare numbers.

You may beliebe the propaganda you are fed by the guido but can you ask yourself why he doesnt talk anymroe about:

- Technetium nerf
- Drake nerf
- Alha making anything else pointless

No they didn't. See White Noise.

The Alliance that wins wars are the ones that keep fighting no matter what happens. This rarely happens in Eve Online because the vast majority of players are in it solely for themselves. When the going gets tough, they get going. No quantity of Titans will ever change that aspect of the game. Goonswarm, the Russians, other alliances with "outside" cultures win because they keep putting fleets up after being destroyed, like a cheating AI in a RTS game. Everyone else loses their ship and has to decided if they really want to lose another T2 fit Battleship for some 0.0 space to rat out of.
