Incarna 1.1.1 won't patch

Is anyone else having trouble patching 1.1.1? It tells me the patch is corrupted, and then ask if I want to use the repair tool. Then it says an application has attempted to load the C run time library incorrectly. This reminds me of when you needed vcrun2008 to patch. I'm also seeing this output from wine:

fixme:ole:CoInitializeSecurity ((nil),-1,(nil),(nil),1,3,(nil),0,(nil)) - stub!
fixme:qmgr:BITS_IBackgroundCopyJob_SetPriority (0x38150,0x00000000) stub
fixme:qmgr:BITS_IBackgroundCopyJob_AddFile Check for valid filenames and supported protocols
fixme:qmgr:BITS_IBackgroundCopyJob_TakeOwnership Not implemented
fixme:wininet:InternetLockRequestFile STUB
fixme:file:MoveFileWithProgressW MOVEFILE_WRITE_THROUGH unimplemented
fixme:actctx:parse_depend_manifests Could not find dependent assembly L"Microsoft.Windows.Common-Controls" (6.0.0.0)

I need to stop trying run both Fallout and Eve in the same wine instance. Creating a new wine instance, moving the eve directory over and running "winetricks corefonts d3dx9 vcrun2008" seems to make everything work. I guess repair tool hasn't worked for me for quite some time.

Btw, are you auto-patching or doing it manually ?
I never had problems while doing it all the old way :)

Manually applying the patches (wget'ting them, and wine-running them) is always a working failover method for me.

I was unable to manually patch. It always fired up the repair tool.
