Did you know: An Astronaut can be up to 2 inches taller returning from space. The cartilage disks in the spine expand in the absence of gravity

True, but they still can't eat the cheeseburger and everything on it. If you got that reference, stop by RITES chat and impress us with your knowledge of awesome sketch comedy shows that like nobody else watched and we'll see if we can't get you a blender.

Best tribute to a hobbit of the day: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XC73PHdQX04

Looking for people 1-10 mil SP interested in an adventure. I can't promise we'll be slaying dragons or delving into dungeons or caves, or that there are any treasures or mystical artifacts. However if you make it to 111 years old we'll leave you feeling like butter scraped over too much bread, if that helps.

Did you know: Grover Cleveland is the only candidate ever to be elected to one term, defeated for a second term, and then elected again four years later. Thus, he became both the 22nd president and the 24th president

It's also known that Grover Cleveland's ghost haunts the earth, angry over the fact that when you google the name "Grover", all you get are results of that stupid blue muppet. Come join [SOUND] chat channel in-game, we'll do our best to make sure your legacy in EVE isn't eclipsed by a random stuffed animal at some point*

*which honestly, that'll be easy to do as stuffed animals can't play EVE, FYI.

Did you know: Every month, approximately nine out of 10 American children visit a McDonald's restaurant

The tenth? He lives in one. Speaking of residing in evil corporations, come visit [SOUND] chat today and we'll do our best to make sure your EVE meal is a happy one.

Did you know: President James Garfield could write Latin with one hand and Greek with the other hand simultaneously

A very useful skill, for those occasions when you're writing two letters at the same time to two people who speak either Greek or Latin. Come join [SOUND] chat today, we'll try to do a better job guiding what you should put your skill points into than whoever was advising ol' Jimmy Garfield.

Did you know: The jump from the Golden Gate Bridge is 250 feet. Trauma from the jump is dramatic and can cause ripped blood vessels, demolished central nervous systems, and a transected spinal cord. While a few have died from drowning and one from a shark attack, most die from the impact of the body on the water. Only 1% who jump survive.

So yeah, don't jump from the Golden Gate bridge. Though you should come jump into [SOUND] chat today, we'll try to limit the drama and the trauma from your EVE experience.

Spooky horror tv show of the day: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Horror_Story

Looking for people whose souls can be immortally bound to our old victorian style mansion. Also between 1-10 mil SP pilots who want a corp to grow with. And by grow, I mean like burned fetuses and dead teenagers.

Did you know: On Match.com, 132 million "winks" are sent out each year and members go out on a six million dates per year

Of those, 131 million "winks" are sent by desperate stupid dudes to other desperate stupid dudes that pretend to be women. Come "wink" at us in [SOUND] chat today, we're desperate for intelligent space dudes that like to go on long roams and who tell us that we're SOOOOOOOOO special.

Did you know: The average video gamer is typically a 35-year-old male who is most likely depressed, overweight, and introverted

That's pretty harsh, random-fact-of-the-day site that I use for these things. Why, I wager that the average webmaster of random fact sites is stupid, dumb, lacks a johnson and is supertarded. So there! Become less introverted today by joining [SOUND] chat, at least then we'll have more people to hang out with while we become depressed and fat.

Did you know: In just seven years, a single pair of cats and their offspring could produce a staggering total of 420,000 kittens

Now to teach kittens how to play EVE and then KITTENBLOB is a go. Until then, join [SOUND] chat and we'll consider you, though if KITTENBLOB ever becomes a reality we may then no longer need you, FYI.

Did you know: Ancient doctors would test for diabetes by tasting the urine of a suspected sufferer of diabetes. Sweet urine is high in glucose, suggesting the presence of diabetes.

Now people just drink urine in order to get off. Urine drinking has certainly fallen from a noble height. Hit up [SOUND] chat today and come taste our sweet, sweet corp... while our corp is high in glucose, at least it won't have a bitter aftertaste.

Would you guys accept a non-bitter vet? I certainly do not comply with the 10 M SP max, but I'm not bitter... I am in fact very sweet, as you would find out if you get to know me...

Also, confirming the FiberOne bars taste good. Seriously, they do.

Yeah, they're freakin' awesome and full of fiber. You can't get any better than that.

Most high-SP players want a corp that is more "full-on 0.0" than people who just roam 0.0 in small gangs most nights of the week, but you can always stop by and have a chat regardless. Worst thing that could happen is that we'll say no. Oogah boogah.

Yeah, there holy grial of 0.0...

I was in deep 0.0, when the disease hit us. i've lost many corpmates to it. Good people, joyous souls consumed by the bitervetness. I managed to grab my interceptor from my hangar and fly from that insanity. I heard many have died. I got myself checked and I am clear. No traces of the disease. I can produce the test upon request.

Myth: Hyenas are scavengers

Fact: Hyenas kill as much as 95% of what they eat. The http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spotted_Hyena in particular is a versatile hunter. Hyenas are also more closely related to cats than dogs.

How does the Rusted Hyena tackle its prey? Join us in [SOUND] and find out!

Mythical Fact:In Norse mythology, Huginn ('thought') and Muninn ('memory') were a pair of ravens that flew across the world daily to tell Odin what was up.

Why weren't the names used for a pair of ships in Eve, rather than a recon and a HAC? Why do they have nothing to do with the Raven itself? Join us in [SOUND] for uninformed speculation as to the ways of developers.

Myth ships of the day: Phobos and Deimos, Gallente HIC and HAC, were named after the Greek gods, sons of Ares. Or were they named after Mar's satellites. Even at that, they're still mythical names, once removed.

Join us in [SOUND] to discuss the fear and terror inspired by HICs and HACs. Or just talk about how fun they are to explode. Or maybe you want to take me to task for cheesy mythological snippets. Whatever, it's all good.

Since this is turning into Ship Name of the Day: The Cruor is named from the latin for blood, as from a wound, or gore.

Apt, I guess, for a cap-sucking ship, but why not Hirido (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hirudo_medicinalis)? Meh, Cruor does sound cooler, I'll admit. I suppose the fact that it's a Blood Raider ship gives a nudge more toward the gory end as well.

To discuss other Latin and pseudo-Latin used by our Space-Catholic friends, join us in [SOUND] now!
