So not necessarily what you may of thought, but when someone attacks you & you destoy them, then what is there kill rights to you.

I mean i just had an encounter with a small ship, me being in a bigger one. Anyway i could of detroyed him easy, but i was doing a misson & didn't want the hassle.

So i know a lot of people like to lure people into a fight for any reason, but i let it go incase he came back in a bigger ship, i was in a very expensive ship to begin with. & To lose it to a greifer would wind me right up.

What would his kill rights of been if i had destoyed him, could he of come back in a bigger ship & genuinly of killed me, without concord intervention.

Also what is concord intervention with 5.0 secerity status, does he still have to blow me up before they will intervene.

Cheers

I'm assuming you are talking about high security space.
It's quite simple. If you are attacking, the other guy and his corpmates get kill rights on you for 15 minutes. They have right to shoot at you and destroy your ship. Every act of aggression between you and them resets the soft aggro counter (the yellow one). But CONCORD will probably get you first. In 0.5 systems DED ships are dropping in about 15 seconds and any action against them is treated as exploit and will end with a ban, so better don't run and don't shoot back. Concordokken will not reset the aggresion timer! You can dock in your pod, but if you undock in a ship before GCC wears off, you will be killed again.
When GCC (the red one) runs out, you can still have the soft aggro (yellow). It means that CONCORD (DED ships and sentries) won't shoot at you, but the attacked guy and his corpmates can. They won't lose security status and CONCORD will not interfere, unless you will attack them first... again.
Other than that, the attacked guy (but not his corp) gets kill rights on you for (I think, but I may be wrong) one month.

EDIT: sentries are located around stations and gates. Your access to stations and gates will be denied during GCC and sentries will open fire at you (except when you are in a pod; NPCs don't shoot at pods). DED ships will hunt you and drop on you instantly if you manage to run away. Concordokken is: instalock, scram, instaneut, instashieldstrip and WTF Damage... almost all at once. When DED drops on you, just relax and enjoy the show. It won't last long.

As above:

When are killed by anybody in space that doesn't have legit rights to kill you (aka suicide ganking) and you don't fight back at that moment you get 1 month of kill rights.

So if you shoot back while they guy is being shot by CONCORD you won't get kill rights, if you just sit there and wait till CONCORD take him out you get kill rights on said pilot. This means you can shoot the guy ONCE without CONCORD intervening, once you killed his ship the kill rights disappears

Their corp onlt gets agro rights if you steal from or are at war with them. If you shot somone whole stole from or shot you recenlty then only that pilot can legaly fight back ( no concord) any one else in his corp who shoots you at this time would be concorded.

However this dose not prevent their corp from indirectly joining the fight by doing things like rep the persons armor or sheilds, transfer cap, run sensor boosters, ganglinks, tracking links. all of these are legal so long as only the pilot who has agro is the one commiting any aggresive act towards you. however all these actions would also flag the person providing the assistance as a legal target for you to shoot as well, just keep in mind that shooting them gives them the right to shoot back for the next 15 min and one pilot holding you down while the other reships for somthing much bigger is a very real possibility

I'm assuming you talk about a situation where the other person has taken something out of one of your cans / wrecks and now you can legally shoot him or her.

In such situation you (and everybody in your corp, provided it's not a NPC corp) get a 15 minute aggression towards that other person, meaning you can attack him or her and concord won't get involved.
However as soon as you attack the other person gets same aggression rights vs you and anyone assisting you (remote repair of any kind or remote sensor boosting, etc).

If during this fight any of you dies you don't get any kill rights, however the 15 minute aggression is still in effect (15 minutes counted from the last hostile action). So the other person can go into station, change ship, come back and attack you (resetting the aggression counter back to 15 minutes).

If you attack anyone without aggression rights you get killed by concord and get a 15 minute global criminal countdown (GCC) meaning that if you're in a ship outside the station concord will kill you (even if you dock and reship, they'll kill you again).

Only other aggression rights you can get is by either a war declaration or by getting illegally killed by someone (suicide ganked) without aggressing back)
