Just move incursions to lowsec, and we end the countless nerf/end incursion threads.

Its lowsec, it would give it a purpose, it would give incurions an isk sink, it would add RISK to incursions (which there is far to little of in those vanguards).

Couldn't agree more.

Confirming that by running Incursions you are no longer allowed to have alts or do anything other than run Incursions.

The majority of Incursion runners I know use the ISK to PvP in shinier ships. Beats x'ing up a 50 man fleet and 20 people saying "I'll fly tackle frig."

I agree with OP. Everyone should be mining and building their own spaceships. Oh wait, then what happens to all the people who do nothing BUT mine/build. **** off.

Again "Incursion Bears" are running away from the topic.... the topic was:
What do highsec incursioners bring to the eve universe?

Incursions provide unique items through the LP store which acts as a sink for a portion of the isk generated.

There are no fewer counters to incursion isk making than there are to other forms of PvE in highsec. For instance, both mission runners and incursioners can be ganked, but only incursioners can have their content despawned from the entire constellation just by killing a single ship.

I'm not sure what you mean by a pro/con mechanic.

Concord "misses" large numbers of pirates all day every day. They did this long before incursions.

As for the mining comparison, between saturation of the profession and competition from gun mining, I'm not sure what you expect there. But I know industrialist and inventors who make more for 5 min of work than I do in a few hours.

Farming is just another form of min maxing which has a direct counter. Yes, it's forming a PvE blob, and taking out the mom, but it exists. And furthermore it can be invoked anytime someone has issue with the length the incursions are running.

I kept a list of goods I normally trade from early Dec 2011. I haven't played since then until just now.

Prices across the board are up around 20%. By this rate, the price of everything will double in a year. Is CCP looking at ways of managing isk flow or should I start converting my ISK into "hard" assets like PLEX or trit?

It's going to continue. CCP have created an environment where the majority of players now either have a bot or are making billions a month in the free-flowing isk avalanche that is Incursions. It's probably the biggest problem facing the game right now. People are less inclined to rat, mission run, explore or mine (because what's the point?) and the special and rarely seen is now commonplace and mundane.

Guess when everything is double the cost next year people will want to cap incursions, till then enjoy the incursion farming at the expense of everyone else... parasites

My signature seems appropriate for this thread. Seems it really has been nullers jelly all along instead of a real isk faucet.

Whom ironically have incursions themselves to run that pay even more than the hisec ones.
