Grinding up from -10 gets old really quick...

So in other words, true pirates wont give a ****, if you want proof go find -10 or the Heretic Army. NRDS wont give a **** either. Please Mr CSM tell us who actualy suffers? Some suicide ganker in high sec who needs to keep there sec status high enaf to keep doing it? If anything I salute CCP for doing this, piracy is a crime and a criminal record should not be that easy to get rid off.

Buying and fitting Thrashers and Catalysts as we speak. I will be putting them in an Orca and shitting them out for anyone who wants to turn them into glitter for a good cause.

I suicide ganked another 13 Exhumers + 4 pods today in honor of this thread.

One Phoon, 2 Tornados and 4 Cats gone to a better place - costing me around 170M in hulls.
Recovered / unfit most of the expensive gank mods (T2 Arty) into the waiting Orca.

Oh, and look - I've got 13 Intact Armor plates and 12 T2 Harvesters, plus assorted other mods worth around 280M, so I guess it was a profitable evening for me, netting almost 100M ISK.

The ice miners, (well, botters) on the other hand, lost about 2.75 Billion in Hulks, Macks and implants.

Not a bad evening.

Like I said before, this mostly affects casual roaming gangs through lowsec. New corps that want to introduce their members to PVP on a lowsec roam before bringing them into nullsec. It might not affect true pirates that are already -10 in the regard that they aren't going to sec up to begin with, but in terms of getting fights, a lot of groups that might have used lowsec as a casual PVP outlet will no longer do this.

The people that suffer are people who occasionally like to pew in lowsec to mix things up because they don't want to be tied to ONE style of gameplay or one profession in EVE. People keep soapboxing that its good that pirates have consequences, except they already did. During the CSM5, the general consensus was that lowsec was broken and now all of the sudden theres nothing wrong and a change that has broken lowsec even more is no big deal?

Its a pity that more CSM candidates aren't bringing this up as this is a fairly important topic from a gameplay and stealth nerf perspective.

Yes, really jump hard and get all excited over sec status. LOL last I checked if you were a pirate it didn't bother you so much. Now EVE got harsher and you actually get a consequence of your risky action....more grind to fix it up. Run rampant across highsec and now its going to hurt, this little change keeps you in check.

To bad CCP can't add an isk penalty as well. As your sec status gets lower, taxes get applied causing your market transactions to go up in price, contracts fees increase, penalty cost for manual trade in station, jump gate toll charge, med clone increases like a combination of contraceptive and child support costs . Hah! This version of EVE would be glorious! You would actually have a Butthurt moment of very harsh consequences to your actions
