I dont mind if people just insult me all day long. It just means its easier to pick new targets. When they start dying you redirect them to the thread/threads and then go from there.


If you really want to be a douche you just keep it up until

1. the corp/alliance implodes
2. they kick the member
3. They make a formal apology on the forums

This is my main forum alt.

I have 2 main pvp alts, 1 main industry alt, 1 alt industry and hauling alt, 1 mainly pirate alt alt, and 2 pilots I'm still not sure what to do with.

Which one is my "main"?

I used to use forum alts, but then (I took an arrow to the knee) I realized that if you have anything credible, trustworthy, or important to say you wouldn't need to hide behind a forum alt.

The only legitimate reason I can see anyone using a forum alt is if it's for the sole purpose of RP.

But I don't care if other people post with their alts, that way I can always accuse them of being cowards if they start acting like asses.

But as a counter-argument, why do some people use their forum alts?

What is this "main" you speak of? I have different characters I use for separate activities and business ventures. Are you telling me that I can never again post as Zaxix of Red Frog/Black Frog because I have another character on this account with more skillpoints? Or that I can't post with my industrialist because Zax has more skill points?

Some people are mean on the forums. Get the **** over it.

You used to use forums alts? Are you just trolling?

If you used forum alts in the past then you should ask yourself why you used to use them. Better still why did you stop using them, listened to too many people on the forum perhaps?

I have a certain reputation in this forum after three years or so of regular posting.

If I suddenly started posting with one of my player characters that has never posted before I wouldn't be read with any of the angst most feel when they see Mr Epeen has posted in their thread.

On top of that, only a dumb ass posts with their main.

other one plays game

Argument? There is no argument, it's up to personal preference if people post with their main or alt.

What happens outside of the game should not manifest itself ingame, which makes both methods ok. Of course if posting with a main and the main is fairly vocal on the forums the greater the risk you take that it will bleed into the game.


So short version, alts or main are fine, so stop whinging about it.
