Market bots are not a big problem. If you are dumb enough to play the .01 isk BS then you deserve to be raped by computers. Smart traders can avoid this by changing bid amounts in thoughtful increments and moving around or thinking outside the box. You know? The **** bots can't do?

Please, tell us more about your encyclopedic knowledge of how market bots aren't a problem. It's late and I could use a laugh.

So you're saying that bots (Computers) can't read a number and then subtract 0.01 from that number? Wow, I never knew that, wish I was smart like you. Here was me thinking that computers were advanced calculators, and yet you've proved me wrong by "thinking outside the box" and showing me a world where computers can't read a number because you changed it by a factor greater than 0.01.

Grab another Nobel Prize professor, you shame us all with your genius and abstract thinking.

Yeah. I was wondering about that. If the bots work on a certain margin then you can cut below that margin. However, those would be pretty damn slim if even a bot didn't want it so you wouldn't be winning.

Now the funny thing is when there's like 3 or 4 bots all 0.01isking one another, that leads to hilariously fast price drops.

And then we start to wonder, all prices in EVE climbed up with about 20% or more, so maybe we need more bots to counter the inflation =)

That's a lot of windows popping up and down with that bot. I have a hard time believing it isn't time-lapsed to some extent though because I don't know about you guys but my market window/trade windows don't open that quickly, even when pressing the buttons. So, because of its methodical approach, I have no doubt it's a bot of some kind, but it seems like the recorder is trying to make it look faster than it is.

Im not so sure they're market bots. I've tried competing and get outbid almost right away, but consider that theres about 1000 people in jita doing the same thing. Chances are about 300 of them are going through their list of orders updating them non-stop... and probably 5 or 10 of those are looking at the same item you are.

i've had my bids matched quite frequently as well

Odyssey: Repacking in POS hangars for modules +1,  but please for other stuff too, especially containers. Make containers openable in POS hangars.

I think you might. Usually I have to work quite hard to extract tears.
