Offering application development services for corporations or personal use.

I currently work in the IT industry, so this would be a side (fun) project for me, in which case I would probably be only able to take on one project at a time.

I specialize in Java development, more specifically Spring development.

Prices are negotiable, in ISK, obviously.

If you are interested contact me via in game message, or via forum post.

Thanks!

Do you have any past work online in which we can view?

I've started work on a production application to help with deciding what to build from missioning loot.

Can take a look at the code here:

https://github.com/donkeystalk/eve-backend

https://github.com/donkeystalk/eve-frontend

Started out as a project to figure out how to use a new framework (backbone js). I'm moving to a new job, so while my current job has been winding down, and I've been passing my duties to other team members, I've been occupying myself with learning a new technology. That was the impetus.

Since then I've restructured it a bit ( if you are up on programming, I've moved from an ORM to straight SQL when dealing with the database dump)

Other than that, all of my applications have been internal corporation (real life, not EVE , lol) applications that I obviously can't hand out code to. Big smile

An interesting concept, show people something useful, interesting or cool. Set some sort of price guideline as well. If you're using PLEX to USD to ISK conversions, very few individuals will be able to afford you; be warned. Do you do any other types of development? Are you familiar with common EVE-related technologies? (Popular libraries like Reverence, and the Java version of PHEAL, the name of which I can't remember at the moment)

Yeah, just thinking about in game time to ISK would be development time halved or maybe quartered.

For example, if I make 25 mil / hour I'd do 5ish mil isk per hour of development. Keep the cost relatively low since I don't have any products out there yet per say, but one is in the works like I've shown.

As for the frameworks, haven't really looked into it.

I'm a bit of a purest in that I like to develop my own base from things I already know (aka Spring Framework), plus since this was a learning experience, I wanted to learn it myself.
